Looking for new members
Wolverton Town CC is in the North West of Milton Keynes.
The club was formed in 1894 and we celebrated 100 years of cricket at our present ground in 2001. We are accredited to CLUBMARK.
We believe we have the best club facilites in MK, full covers, two sightscreens at each end, heated scorebox, practice hard nets and mobile net for grass wicket practice.
We run three senior sides every Saturday.For season 2011, The 1st XI will be playing in the Cherwell League Division 2, the 2nd XI play in Division 6, the 3rd XI will be mounting a challenge in the local 4 Counties League.
In addition to the Saturday sides we also run Three Sunday sides - 1st XI and 2nd XI in MK Sunday League.
We also run junior cricket at ages groups from U-10 to U-16 with matches or coaching sessions occurring most evenings in the week. All junior sides are managed and coached by ECB qualified coaches all of whom are CRB checked.
Our coaches also are actively pursuing Community coaching and we arepart of Chance-to-Shine for the fifth year in 2011
We urgently need players contact the club on 01908-313866. We welcome enquiries from players of all ages and abilities, we are especially keen to hear from scorers.
Our clubhouse is open every day with a well stocked bar. Social events are held regularly throughout the year. Wolverton cricket teas are legendary.
